Credit Card Bank Transfer???

If you use a credit card to transfer money into someone else’s bank account, as a deposit, does the section 75 cover still apply?

I strongly suspect that may be treated the same as a cash advance, and therefore not covered under section 75. Perhaps worth checking with your credit card company.

Pretty sure you won't find a credit card that does a money transfer to anyone but your own account?

Apparently, Barclaycard do, but my concern being that section 75 won't work, which is the only reason I want to use a CC!

Presumably the goal is to get S75 cover for a purchase from someone that doesn't accept credit cards.

Pretty much this: to get Section 75 cover from somewhere that only accepts bank transfers.
