Recommendations for (free) Share Portfolio Tracking software

Hi everyone,
Having seen a friend keeping track of his share prices by means of paper records, kept neatly next to his new iMac, I thought its a good opportunity to introduce him into the modern era - can anyone recommend some free/cheap tracking software that he can use?
Nothing fancy, just simple graphical means of monitoring all his shares in one document. We had a quick look online and there is a sea of options.
