Trezor wallet forgotten PIN number panic

Hi guys, really need some help to calm myself. I have a Trezor wallet and I’ve forgotten my PIN number. I have my 24 seed words and I have all my coin stored on my Trezor wallet. For a new dummy, is there a simple step by step way of getting in and resetting my pin without loosing my funds in there. I’ve tried a few pin combinations and now have to wait some 500 seconds to retry. I’m just not going to remember it so I’ve stopped trying. Any help would be so gratefully received.

A quick google suggests that you just need to wipe the device and recover it using the seeds

Thank you, but it scares the hell out of me to consider wiping anything clean as won’t it wipe my coin out in the process. ??

Have a read of the Recovery section of the manual:

Buy a new Trezor and use seed phrase.

If recovers great, if not still have original.

this seems to be the best option...I'm guessing by doing a recovery it wont ask me for the password!!! would it just ask me for the 24 word seed?

I’m assuming Trezor just used the standard seed phrase approach.

And the pin just protects your setup Trezor.

Use that offline for safety. Check the public addresses and see if they have bitcoin.
If they do it’s almost certainly working as expected so you can recover one way or another.
Or alternatively you now have the private keys to someone else’s bitcoin mwuhahaha!
