Multiple Debit/Credit cards compromised

My wife has one debit card and two credit cards. In the last two weeks, she has had fraud alerts on all three cards, resulting in them all being replaced.

It seems a bit of a coincidence that all three have been hit in such a short time period. She doesn't even use the physical cards much because of Apple Pay. But all three are kept in her purse, could she have been victim to some kind of RFID scanner?

I think that's highly unlikely. Is there any pattern to where the money was spent? Are they all from different banks? Anyone in the home who could have abused trust by using them? That happens more often than people think (no matter how much people say X family member would never do this!)

All three cards from separate banks. No real pattern of spending, other than it seems to have been spread out over the last 2 weeks.

Only me, the wife and 2 daughters (aged 2 and 6 weeks ) in the house.

Going a little off topic but reminds me of an old work colleague who had to disable ordering via Alexa as his little boy (when about 5 years old) managed to order himself a new rugby ball!
