In which case I'd suggest both parties agree a third lawyer to hold the cash on an undertaking.

Thanks. The Lawyer we're currently using isn't performing well. Hence the looking around.

If one side doesn't trust the other side's lawyer to hold the money on an undertaking then there are obviously some serious issues, I can't see how adding in a third party who will only have the same legal obligations will solve it.
