Just wondered if anyone else has noticed any changes in the past fortnight?

I have a couple of existing cards with Barclaycard and MBNA. Small balance on both from some building work last year which i put on them - pay around 5% of balance each month. Balances are around 20% of the card balance. No late payments. Overall debt to credit ratio is around 10% at most.
Have historically noticed they always have Balance transfer/money offers available.
But on all cards they disappeared around 2-3 weeks back.

Wondered if anyone else has noticed the same with all offers disappearing?

I have rarely used them, but typically was just about to use them to fund a short term bridging finance for buying a car until the old one is sold.

I have noticed the opposite recently. Used to get balance transfer / zero purchases offers regularly on my cards until about June last year and this month have they started to return. No change in the level of use of loading.

I'll keep an eye on them then just in case they return. Annoying that the one time i might need to use it there are none available.

I still have the same 2 offers on my MBNA card: 0% over 18 months with a 3.5% fee or 3.9%pa over 36 months.

Thats what i had until the end of June, but then they disappeared. I'll keep an eye on them.
Must be my account. Will keep an eye on it and maybe drop them a line to see if any future ones likely.

You might have droppedout of their targetted marketing or re-markeing pool.

If their app or the .co.uk site has an are where offers are made available, take a look, as this could trigger an "expression" of interest flag against your customer ID.

You may well find yourself targted with any new campaigns folowing your recent interest in the product.

Cheers MattS5. Will take a look. Wasn;t sure if the credit card market was being a bit conservative with offers due to covid. I'll tick the box for marketing just to see if that flags any interest. Worst case scenario i'll pull my premium bonds out to bridge the purchase, but as the card used to offer 3.9% with £0 fee and historically they've been chucking offers at me, that was my first idea.
