Sending Money to Poland - Revolut?

Hello All,

Looking to purchase a replacement radio system for my Skoda. Unable to find what I need in the UK.

A Polish member on Briskoda has said items. Typically, Paypal would be my default. I feel safe that if anything goes wrong then I'm covered either by creditcard or Paypal.

Seller states Bank Transfer or Revolut only. Does anyone have experience with Revolut, I've never heard of it before, let alone used it. Anything I should be aware of.

Email revolut and ask them what protection they offer to consumer to consumer payments.

Has the bloke got lots of posts on the forum? Read through them and if going back a while, I would personally just do a bank transfer if not too expensive an item.

You could always ask him to arrange a video call and show you it?
Or ask him if he has an ebay account and then message him through that to check its him.

It's part of the fun of buying used trusting your due diligence and instincts.

Revolut is fine until it goes wrong. Then you realise why it is cheap. A while back I sent £1000 to someone in Australia - no issue with the person, the money didn’t show up. Revolut were customer support was limited to “we’ll get back to you in 3 weeks”.
