I hope this is the best place to post.

I usually pay my Credit card balance fully every month but I purchased an Item for £530 that has not been delivered. I have the form from the Credit card company to request a charge back under the grounds of purchased goods not received.

Question is, as I pay my balance fully every month what happens if I am successful and I am refunded the £530, does that just sit as credit on my Credit card? or will it be refunded to my current account with out any charges. My CC is with the same bank as my current account.

The companies website payment system was via I zettle (Paypal) so at the time it looked pretty genuine.

Thanks

KTF

It will go back on your credit card account.

Once your credit card is credited, just call the bank and ask for it to be transferred to your current account. I have done this in the past.

Or simply leave it on the credit card account and it will offset against your next bill
