Family Building Society - Windfall Bond

I have a little money which isn't doing anything at the moment. Obviously looking at this as a flutter since interest is a tenner pa on £10k. Has anyone had previous dealings with Family Building Society good, bad or ugly?

Looking at their range of products I'm not sure why the Windfall Bond (0.1%) is attractive: https://www.familybuildingsociety.co.uk/savings/co...

It depends how quickly you might want your money back. The Capital 90 at 1.06% looks the best to me. Twice as much as Marcus, but not instant withdrawals. With inflation looking to hit 5% next year, you'll only be 4% down instead of 5%.

I recall that the Family Building Society is connected to the National Counties Building Society - a good small old-school building society. My experience with the National Counties Building Society has been good.

I think the OP suspects the BS might collapse.

I was trying to see if they're registered with the FCA (from the FCA website) but can't see how to do it.

yep - the flutter is the potential of monthly cash prizes

£1K, £15K and £50K. just like the premium bonds but hopefully far better odds.
