Completed remortgage

Remortgage completed today about 4pm from one provider to another. A good many thousand should be transferred to us on the day by the end of business that day. We paid 30 extra quid so that happens. The banks solicitors were used.

It hasn’t arrived. Is that normal?

Forgot it was Friday today!...payment may not arrive till Monday

May be worth trying to call your solicitors Sat morning and see if anyone is about to confirm

Just tried to call and they don’t work weekends. Lazy sods anywho, just checked online and the bank details we have given are correct and the mortgage has popped up on our internet banking so alls good. It’s just nice to fully complete everything. Thanks again.

The cut off is 6pm-All payments must be submitted by 5.40. It would seem it missed it. The system matches full name and account so no chance it went elsewhere. Don't panic
