Pension advice in East Yorkshire

I’ve finally decided I need to get some advice on my company pensions; I had a look at this a couple of years ago but he seemed to be more interested in selling me various products than anything.

Ideally I want someone based in East Yorks so I can have meetings in person, with a fee to review the pensions and advise.

Can anyone recommend someone suitable please?

Whilst Nik & the "advice" he gives is excellent it should be understood it's not Advice as the OP may be looking for.

OP: Intelligent Money sponsor some forum stickies at the top of the Finance forum which you may wish to have a look through. A number of us have become clients of IM but one thing they do not offer is Advice (eg to suggest which funds you should invest in) as that is a regulated service. What they do offer (for free) is excellent assistance so you can understand your choices & opportunities with no obligation or pressure to purchase anything or become a client of IM.

My forum stalker will be along shortly to make a snarky comment.

The guy I use is from Succession and is pretty good - based in Leeds but may be worth a call to see if he would come across to East Yorkshire.

Thanks all, gives me somewhere to start.

The pension pot needs plenty adding to it but it’s a bit pointless unless it is invested sensibly.
