I need real solid NFT advice
Discussion
So my new project is a design led business that will probably be known initially as a clothing brand but it’s so much more.
I can’t give too many details ahead of launch but I’ll have exclusive designers attached who are far from mainstream but will appeal to a worldwide niche.
Say we have a design of x that we sell 500 shirts a month / 200 prints / 50 phone covers etc etc it has a inherent value we could sell as an NFT and pay a royalty to the owner each time we exclusively use it.
Doing this the original designer would get a nice lump sum plus the designers get a % of sales of each item.
I need to attract high profile designers within the niche so this could be a great maggot on my hook.

Who would own the copyright of design x?
Initially the designer but my business has exclusive rights, if we sell the NFT the new owner has it but we retain useage rights and pay a commission. The design nft price increases as the design is proven with tangible sales income.

How many NFT's are you intending to create? As they're unique surely you can only sell each one once but I do understand you can take a % each time an individual NFT trades hands.
Or are you intending to create many NFTs that are all the same? Seem a little crooked if so.
We’ve 40 at launch - 100 within a month then adding 20+ a month - like buying BTL house off plan it’s cheaper before proven Or are you intending to create many NFTs that are all the same? Seem a little crooked if so.

You don’t have to assign the copyright with the NFT. Most don’t…The design nft price increases as the design is proven with tangible sales income.
