The news just coming out of Russia is disturbing.

If Putin does invade what do people think will be the effect on asset prices (Houses, Stocks and Shares, etc)?

Presumably oil prices would spike as would energy prices.

Would interest rates quickly increase?

I suspect a lot of it is priced in. If it's a full scale attack attack on Kiev then some impact. Oil price up, gold up, but most shares especially airlines down. If it's a bit more incremental it could actually be good for most assets, the uncertainty will be reduced compared with the current situation. Sell on the rumour buy on the news and all that.
