Post Office Pensions

As I understand it the 22/23 pension review letter has not been sent out and according to the Post Office Pension web site it will not be sent out until 1st May .So we will not know until then what the annual increase will amount to .
I take it no other Post Office pensioner has had a review letter yet ?

Another piece of information gleaned from the web site , whereas the pension had benefitted from the triple lock method of calculating annual increases it now seems a double lock calculation will be used , better than state pensions I suppose .

But for those who would criticise us for even expecting an increase , this was a contributory scheme , the members paying a % of pay in addition to NI contributions ,and it is taxable as additional income over and above state pension and tax allowances

I should add , when I retired , PO pensions were index linked , not sure if it is still so .

So, just like all other occupational company-sponsored schemes then, nothing exceptional in what you say.
