I am helping a good friend put his affairs in order following a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

He has a small DB pension which includes a 50% widows benefit but it seems to me the transfer value and his prognosis make the case for a transfer to a SIPP compelling.

I know it is a difficult market at the moment but this would seem to be a fairly straightforward case. Does anyone have a recommendation of someone who can give the necessary independent advice please? Hopefully relatively speedily and not too expensive. Transfer value is approx £400k.

thank you

LV are one of the few firms that will still advise on this.

I have an independent lady who has the DB qualification. Feel free to pm me if you’d like her details?
