Firstly, sorry if this has been done to death, if so feel free to point me in the direction of other threads.

I topped up my ISA with the £20k allowance recently and am yet to decide where to put it. I'm done with chasing individual stocks since the mayhem of covid and I just want to split the money between 4 funds/ETFs that are fairly well spread across the markets. It's also become difficult to weed out good/bad funds due to covid, and some funds have done very well over the past 2years, but it's difficult to tell if that will continue.

At this stage I'd like the money to grow quickly, so I'm open to riskier funds rather than 'boring' stable performers.

My ISA is with Halifax, incase that alters what funds will be available to me.

Do you know what your definition of "risky" is?

Netflix risky?

Baillie Gifford American risky?

Well I'll be limited by what's available via Halifax, so it won't be "random African diamond mine" levels of risk.

I'd rather aim to be 50% up and end up 50% down than guarantee a 5% return, levels of risk

Fundsmith ??

Still a fair bit off it's peak, so "cheap", not too risky (Obviously these things are relative), but when it does go, it really does seem to go in good spurts (or has done in the past)

You don't need to stick with Halifax. It's possible to transfer the funds to another provider and maintain your ISA status. You'll likely have lower costs and more options.

I've only just deposited the funds into my pre-existing Halifax ISA, so I'd rather not have the hassle of moving them around

It’s a busted flush, behind a quality index in 3 of the last 4 years.

It certainly did very well a decade ago though, without doubt.
