Pending transaction

I’ve tried to pay using PayPal Pay in 3 on Thursday but the transaction failed. It remained pending on PayPal for 48 hours before it’s voided. However it’s still showing as pending on my bank account today.
I’ve called PayPal and they’ve provided me with a confirmation that transaction is voided. I’ve called my bank on Monday and was told that there is nothing they can do, and will just have to wait for the pending status to be removed.
Does anyone know how long it normally takes to clear?
