Last 4 months now, every 13th of the month, Im getting £20 paid into my current account.

I have no idea who what or where its coming.

The ID on the transaction is 13 digit number that changes, with the exception of the last 4 digits, which are always NSPB.

I have spent about an hour on hold on three occasions trying to talk my bank and failing.

How do I stop this situation ?

Thats what the bank said when I got spoke to them initially, and whilst I have a regular purchase of these, I dont believe Im winning £20 every single month.

Why on earth would you want to?! If it was going out, then yes, but...

It will shake out eventually. I wouldn't spend any management time on it.

I dont want it to build up and be faced with a large repayment for one, and for two, I definitely dont like anything unexpected happening to my current account, deposit or otherwise.

What is your regular purchase? You haven’t accidentally changed the amount to £20 and they are rejecting it as it’s below the minimum?

Request your bank to put a trace on the payment, can take up to 3 weeks when I last did this.

Try going into a branch and explain the situation and take it from there.

You sir, are a star.....

That is EXACTLY whats happened...

I adjusted the payment recently and, obviously, incorrectly.

I love PH for this kind of stuff.

Thanks !!

While we're talking apparently free money, I've got a 1.2 Euro credit from Amazon.de showing on my cc.

I don't have an Amazon account and haven't bought anything for £1 from them.

This time next year I'll be a millionaire.

I guess he increased his monthly buy in by £20 not £25 (or some other denomination that left £20 over).
