You Are Eligible To Apply For Energy Bill Rebate
Dear
Starting today the Government has announced an energy bill rebate scheme
You have to apply for energy bill rebate before June 01 2022
The government has announced a package of support to help households with rising energy bills. We will start making the payments in June 2022.
This includes:
A £200 discount on their energy bill this Autumn for domestic electricity customers.
A £250 non-repayable Council Tax Rebate payment for all households that are liable for Council Tax.
This rebate is covered by the government and does not need to be paid back
How do I apply for energy bill rebate?

No. You don’t have to apply. Like all these things, there are always companies that will claim for you for a fee.

The discount will be made automatically by your energy supplier. There is no need to apply.
Also: your council website should tell you about the Council Tax rebate. For us, if you pay by direct debit, that will be adjusted. If you pay otherwise, you will get a refund that you can pay in at the Post Office (other councils may vary their method).

Because the date is written is US format, not British; well spottedI still use that in file names, easier to arrange by date then.
