Hi, I am considering switching from Charles Stanley direct to Lloyd's for my stocks ISA. Mainly due to the flat fee nature of Lloyd's.

Wanted to ask if anyone has experice of Lloyd's for share dealing and if there is anything to watch out for. I presume the range of passive funds/ETfs will be the same anyway?

Thanks

I'd probably look on the IWEB website as I believe Lloyds use the same platform (IWEB are owned by Halifax/Lloyds).

I use iWeb these days having been with some others previously. I’ve no idea why anyone would look past iWeb, proper cheap and simple.

No automated monthly investment option is the only thing I miss.

Interested in this, because I need to move one ISA. Originally Sharelink (very professional), eventually became Barclays (don't ask) now runs with percentage charges that are uncapped.

NatWest used to run nil charges for higher value accounts, but then suddenly changed their rules.
I moved that account.
Presumably iWeb/Lloyd's have a fee variation clause in their conditions, so we hope they do not change their fees soon after they take the initial £100.

With ultra low interest rates since 2008, I have not been concerned about cash building up in ISAs, but that is begining to become more relevant now. Nil interest paid by iWeb, but are cash withdrawals easy and free ?

Do they promptly communicate corporate action information?

Years ago in the PEP era, some providers made mistake after mistake. I have not spotted any errors recently, so do you consider iWeb is administered professionally, with a sensible and easy to use website layout ?
