Dormant Austrian account

Hi there.

I was wondering if anyone has any info on how to retrieve money from a dormant Austrian account. The account was in use in the early 80s with a bank named Creditanstalt. The account holder is alive and well and wants to retrieve their money.

Most of the info I've found online seems to be info catered to US residents or inheritance money.

Usually the best place to start would be talking to the bank, so in this case Bank Austria who took over that other one.
