I went to Southampton last week and made a couple of purchases. one at Hythe Pier for a ferry trip and two at the terminal in Southampton for ice creams on Town Pier?
On the day of the spend i got a debit from MDIGEN.CLICK for 1.49, and on the 7th a further one from them for 29.99.

The info on the card statement said, electrical goods for the 1.49 and29,99 for a subscription.. and it was that that got me looking deeper. nothing onthe the web about them and i contacted Bcard and queried them.
Turns out they are both false and Bcard will be doing a refund. They will also get onto the retailers i used on that day to advise them that they have been compromised They did ask me to check on about 7th Sept to see if another dodgy 29.99 has been debited and while they can now get an autocheck on MDIGEN.CLICK. it will not pick up variations of it

So heads up to those who have recently used a card in Southampton and all others to have a check on weird spends popping up

This is not one of those Facebook panics you normally get..

They just appeared!!

Bvard said that the vendors card machine has been hacked.
The fraudsters put a small amount on, in my case 1.49, hoping it will not be picked up. They then put on a bigger amount, in my case the 29,99 as a subscription. which will be collected monthly
As i only use the Bcard when my AE one is not accepted, i picked it up straight away. If it had been my main card it could have slipped through the net, if there had been the normal couple of hundred spent on it.
IO bet most people just look at the total each month and just pay it up

Thanks for the heads up.
TBH I go through every item on the monthly (paper) invoice and check against the receipts in my wallet, Amazon, Ebay etc.
But I'm a PITA to live with....
