I was reviewing my cash savings today and trying to find the best short/medium term home for it and wondered what everyone else was seeing in terms of short term deposit and money markets rates.

I have access to the following rates on Hargreaves Lansdown. Is anyone seeing much better elsewhere? Rates below are all fixed rates except the ON which is easy access and floating.

ON 1.25%
3MTH 1.60%
6MTH 2.25%
9MTH 2.78%
1YR 3.30%
18MTH 3.00%
2YR 3.50%

I’m using 31 day notice saver from Zopa @ 1.95% (variable).

Moved my pot from Marcus account that was paying 1.5%.

Cheers, is that instant access? If so that's a great rate.

Raisin are showing an account at 1.76% instant access with UBL- says it’s covered by fscs

raisin seems to offer a similar idea to HL active savings - not used Them before though so not an endorsement!

At last Friday's auction I got 2.1% on 3 month Treasury Bills - by the far the best short term return IMHO

UK or US?

Are UK bills accessible to "retail"?

Al Rayan offer 1.9% easy access. It’s ‘expected profit rate’ rather than interest as it’s an Islamic bank but as far as I’m aware they never fail to pay the rate advertised.

Also with Zopa @ 1.95% - seems good enough, I can't think of a situation where I couldn't wait a month to pull the money back out.

Cheers. I didn't realise that UK Gilts/Bills were available to retail punters. In the current rate environment they begin to make a lot of sense.

My recollection from looking into it previously was that the minimum size was quite large.

I'm torn currently between locking in all my available cash for 1 Year at 3.30% based on premise that BOE will raise to 2.5% at which point economy collapses and they are forced to loosen again or continue to roll easy access and 3mth fixed between 1.5% and 2% in the event that we have a full blown sterling crisis and rates are forced to the moon at which point I can lend 10 Year money at 10%.

it’s just that 3.5% seems a long way from double digit inflation.

Then you have to take risk.
