BTC

Really though, it depends on what £1M means to you. It is it just one of several, one of hundreds, or more money than you have ever had, or ever will again? Bit of a tough question to answer without more details. What do you need to do with it in five years time?

Depends on your risk tolerance.
Oil and coal have too many unknowns in the form of new environmental laws and political unrest in the countries that have them.
Sand, no idea, so I'd go with water as it's the one thing on your list we can't do without.
With EV's taking over the world I'd look at copper as it's available from mining and recycling and is essential to all things electric.
As the world gets hotter the demand for air conditioners will increase, so I'd look at DuPont, Honeywell and MexiChem, all of who make A/C refrigerants. And these refrigerants are not easy to make unless you invest billions, so there won't be much competition unlike those who actually make the A/C units.
Just random thoughts so do your own DD. biggrin
