Is there a simple way to purchase small amounts of options? If I think a particular currency / commodity might go up or down a lot over x years, is there a way to buy an option with small amounts, say £100?

I want to buy some very out of the money money call options, hopefully for not very much money (but I guess the price is not known to me right now so who knows) and if I’m wrong, the £100 is lost. If I am right then the £100 turns into a lot more. I can afford to loose the £100.

Whereas if I invest in the commodity etc, I could loose a lot or make a lot, I’d prefer a one way bet.

Is this possible for a small retail investor without getting hit by a silly percentage of fees?

Donkey Apple may have other ideas, but IG index is probably one of the easiest, or SaxoBank is (used to be?) the preferred platform for commodity traders running their own books.

IBKR lets you purchase single options.
