Best saving account for kids
Discussion
Obviously carries a degree of risk v building society but we set up F&C investment trust accounts ( now Columbia Threadneedle ) for our 3 children - started them off with a lump sum and then paid in money annually or when grandparents were feeling generous or we were feeling flush.
In their names with us as trustees and then when they reached 18 they were converted to ISA equivalents in their name.
Worth a look at their website if this floats your boat.
Congratulations btw.

Junior ISA definitely (although with the proviso that they get the money at 18 so fingers crossed they are sensible) and personally with an 18 year time frame I would go for a cheap world tracker - FTSE Global All cap with Vanguard is my favourite but there are other alternatives - keep an eye on costs as it makes a big difference over 18 years
Many congratulations and good luck
