Land mortgage brokers

Me and the wife are considering going the self build route for our next house but would like to secure a plot first. For the plot we will probably be looking at 55-60% LTV. Can anyone recommend a broker that deals with Land mortgages/loans? We had asked a local broker put they have now passed us on to BuildLoan who are yet to touch base.

Most brokers will refer you on to Buildloan usually.......it's what we would do also.
