pension fund choosing
Discussion
Provider : Platform ease of use, cost basis ( and does it rate as reputable )
Provider : Wide choice of funds / Investments
Platform costs
Fund costs
additional ( hidden ? ) costs
your risk profile
likely length of term
risk profiles of each fund ( high / med low etc )
spread risk mix
Spread currency risk ( USD/EURO/GBP markets etc )
its all rather 101. if not, pay an IFA ( this bit is not a glib statement)
The list is not in priority order ....all should be considered

Would suggest that term and attitude to risk are top of the list. They are questions about you, often people really haven't thought that through. Once you have that an IFA could guide you and suggest products that much the risk/term profile. The rest can be a bit more of a comparison. Although still a minefield.

It will only show graphs from the last year and won't show me on graphs how the funds have done
Google the fund name, the historical prices might be available on another website. But obviously remember historical performance is not an indicator of future performance... especially with some rather exceptional circumstances over the last 5 years.Shaoxter said:
