US Rating Downgrade (Fitch drops the AAA)

Fitch drops US AAA rating. Down to AA+ (only 10 years after S&P).

Thoughts on this? a few decent brains in here.

I found it mildly amusing that they basically called politicians plonkers in rating agency speak. Oh, and that 118% debt to GDP might start to bit when you have rising entitlement costs...
