Is there anything to be gained seeing an advisor when I have pretty simple requirements? I only started taking pension seriously a few years ago.
Single with no dependents, in good health. People’s Partnership pension through employer. Current pot £100,000; employer putting in minimum which is about £110/month and I’m putting in £2,000. People’s Pension won’t allow taking part out to reinvest; either take the lot and close account or continue. Costs are reasonable, see screenshot.

I’d hoped to take a chunk and have a dabble with Vanguard.

ETA planning to retire July 2029 when I qualify for state pension.

As you're over 50, maybe a free session with Pension Wise would be useful?

What would you be asking an IFA?

Opening a SIPP with Vanguard (or anyone else) is dead simple.

I'm not clear what you'd do with the Peoples Pension given they only let you transfer out the full pension and it sounds like your current employer is paying into it.
