Apps to help with Bills

In our family, I pay for virtually everything, and most of it is nice and easy, coming out of my account. Some bills however, such as swimming, theatre school, piano lessons etc (enough sniggering in the back row, I'm well aware what we sound like) are irregular and typically get sent to the Mrs (king of family admin). They get sent to me, and often get lost in the busyness of life.

Anyone come across an app which can help, which is finance based (similar to Snoop) but with the ability to add manual bills, to then get paid? We could use Reminders across iOS, or the Mrs could do it of course ... but, failing those? Any suggestions?

I have an account with First Direct where through on-line banking I can see all my regular payments out. If I want to a future irregular payment I set up the payee and payment amount to be paid at a future date. I haven't tried this myself but I can see a section in my account statement showing pending payments so I'm guessing they should show in here.
I also an account with LLoyds and fairly sure this works in the same way but be worth checking what their on-line services provide.
