What does quantum finance system mean for us?
Discussion
I keep seeing articles about "the quantum finance system" and how it will improve security, allow faster transactions etc etc but don't really understand yet what it does and what it means to the general man in the street - if anyithing in practice.
Are banks adopting it? What disadvantages are there?
I'm sure there will be many on PH who will know more than me.

I've a couple of sweatshirts with the time-independent Schrodinger equation on them, and IMO that page was written to sound impressive, interesting and incomprehensible.Al Gorithum said:
I don't know anything about it but a guy I know who is senior at the Fed says IFS is coming. He also said cash is going.
It's anecdotal so could be BS though...

I've heard that at any one moment you'll know where your money is, but not how much you have and vice versa!
