Prepaid debit card

Hi, I want to give someone in hospital a prepaid debit card.

I know their name but not much else. don't really want my details on it, seems like all cards need your full details, any options besides gift cards?

Hi op, having a prepaid card doesn't affect you in any way. My in-laws are in South Africa, I sent out a caxton Mastercard, easier than sending money via a bank transfer where fees are taken. You can't over draw on it and there's no credit searches as you're not borrowing. You top up from an app and you can follow the spending as well.
