I pay into a junior isa for a child, apologies for probably obvious answer but since I pay 25 quid a month why does only 21.90-ish buy shares? I think it doesn’t have any charges see link. Where’s the other bit going?!

I'm guessing the smallest increment you can deal in is 0.01 of a unit, and 0.07 * 36575.7575 / 100 (as it's priced in pence) > £25.

Hmm that’s a good theory, thanks. In which case I’d be better off increasing my amount to 26 or 27 quid. But I can’t help but wonder if that is the methodology a) why they don’t carry it (the unused portion) forward and subsequently purchase the next increment up and b) where have all my 3 quids gone up to this point!

Plus it must be the same problem for all funds as this problem will always exist?
