HL values dropped over night??

We’ve got a lot tied up in various HL Isas etc and I noticed there’s been a large drop overnight. I’m assuming it’s a revaluation or something but has anyone else noticed this before I contact them??

Can you define "a large drop overnight" a little better?

Depends on the investments. 30-40% on average.

Might be a mistake in the price of a fund/share, I had that once with BRKB on there.

Some funds just show zero now….no transactions showing so I’m hoping it’s a valuation issue.

Something certainly not quite right, the app is showing my SIPP is down £5k overnight. Nothing in other markets that would effect it to that degree.
I'd put it down to the app, it does come up with some random numbers sometimes, especially just after the London markets close it often reads very high.

That sounds like a platform issue.

Depends on the investments but if you were investing in something that could do that I'd expect you to know.

Are they just regular funds? If so I'd simply wait (assuming a platform issue) or call/contact HL if it's concerning you.

There doesn't seem to be any reports of the same thing on other finance forums (yet).

I actually checked my HL SIPP yesterday and today it’s gone up. I suspect it’s a glitch and will be rectified soon; Vanguard have them now and again as well.

HL can't give a valuation on Lindsell Train funds today hence the drop BUT what's the problem with LT??

Just noticed BlackRock funds are also not showing a valuation.

Vanguard funds too. There’s quite a few. Glad it’s not just me.

The stock marjet average is up slightly, so is it the day when funds deduct client fees ?

There have been a lot of cyber attacks the last 3 months. Its effecting all the names mentioned plus others.

It's pretty obvious who it is...

Anyway the issue is normally solved within 2 to 3 hours. If your profile only updates at the close you might have to wait a day.

Some of mine are showing as N/A, I would suspect this is a feed issue to the platform.

I’m invested in vanguard funds (VWRP & VUAG) plus individual shares via HL, no overnight value change via app.

Getting back to normal here too now…still a few funds to left to update but obv just a glitch.
