Allowable expenditure for CGT calculation

Morning All,
I'm trying to work out my CGT exposure on some foreign shares that I sold.
On the transaction statement it lists two costs, commission of sale and exchange costs (Euro to GBP).
I know I can include the commission of sale as a cost in the calculation but I'm not sure I can include the exchange costs, I've tried calling HMRC but getting through is slightly troublesome!
