Evening all.

Quick mortgage question.

If I applied for a mortgage tonight online and got accepted, does the fix rate remain valid for 6 months , or, is it 6 months from formal offer stage, so actually I could bag that fix rate for like 6 months plus processing time ( say 3 weeks )?

Do you know ?

My current fix rate ends in 7 months so want to bag a new rate now but hold off completing until 7 months up.

With almost all lenders, it's 6 months from the date of application.........
