I'm looking to consolidate a number of old UK pensions into one and it's complicated by the fact that I am a US permanent resident and a lot of providers are unwilling to deal with that. I'm talking to a FA and they use AJ Bell as the platform. They look pretty reputable but I wondered if anyone had experience with them. Thanks.

I transferred everything from HL to AJ Bell recently. Fast and seamless with lower costs and a good platform.

They have a good reputation.

IWeb use them for their SIPP provider too and IWeb are owned by Lloyds Banking Group so you'd think there's some scrutiny over their choice of partner.

Although Trustpilot is no sort of recommendation. They delete negetave reviews so everyone has high ratings.

I dread to think what this company is actually like then https://ie.trustpilot.com/review/afkletters.com (From the mis-sold solar panels thread).

Like to add my 'no problems' experience to the above contributions. For completeness though I discovered this week that you can't put stop-losses on shares listed on the NYSE via the platform.
