Director/sefl employed pensions
Discussion
Hi Guys
Does anyone have a qualified view on the benefits/drawbacks of a self-managed company director pension like this one from PensionBee, versus an IFA managed SIPP with someone like AJ Bell:

I'm interested in a scheme that allows you flexible payments, rather than being locked into formal agreed contributions in advance. My only concern about a PensionBee type scheme is how well the portfolio is managed, and how, and also how secure these funds are with a smaller provider.
Any insights welcome
Thanks

The Pension Bee plans look horrible to be honest.Does anyone have a qualified view on the benefits/drawbacks of a self-managed company director pension like this one from PensionBee, versus an IFA managed SIPP with someone like AJ Bell:

Why would you need an IFA to manage a SIPP via AJ Bell - do you have any particularly complex requirements?
All you need to do is set up a SIPP via AJ Bell, and then transfer money into it from your company bank account as and when you want.
It's nothing you and a company accountant can't work out between you....
