You need a vote format. Otherwise, as asked, you will get very few answers.

In general I would say the "older" generation (say over 65?) don't do online banking.

I set up an iPad banking app for my parents as they used to wait for the monthly postal paper statement. So now they can check balances at leisure but that's all they use it for.

I am (just) in that demographic and do everything online, no idea why anybody would waste time visiting banks any more

I’m not in that age bracket, but my dad is over 80 and mum is not far off. My dad in particular has always been a technological stick-in-the-mud - for many years he would go into the NatWest branch at lunchtime, and write a cheque for cash rather than use the ATM outside. However…. now they use Internet banking quite regularly and without issue. Works well for them. Birthday money etc just pops up in my account on the day along with a text message from them.

Many oldies use online banking and the number of bank branches constantly closing down will increase it ever further.
Many banks have now scrapped paper statements too.
Given the decades that we've been on, going from simple ATMs to todays online facilities on home PCs, phones etc there shouldn't be many problems, for anyone.

I had a client who was always telling me how they didn't use online banking as it wasn't safe. They got scammed by a telephone call...

I'm mid '70's and use online banking but cannot get on with my clever phone!
The screen is too small for my elderly eyes.....

'er indoors does not do online banking at all, although she will use an ATM to obtain cash and it has taken until very recent months for 'er to use a card when shopping. AND, she is younger than I!

My mate Fat Derek, does his banking via his clever phone, better eyesight than I, but insists on using cash for all purchases bar household bills. So he draws his 'housekeeping' money as cash to use in the supermarket and butchers because he gets 'better value for cash' !

Online banking generally replaces writing a cheque, not visiting a bank.

I use online banking but am surprised that some people consider putting something in an envelope and posting it as a task akin to climbing Mount Everest. See also 'Christmas Cards'.

Try buying/selling a car privately without online banking and using a cheque

On the exceptionally few occasions I have needed to go into a physical bank branch in the last couple of years (to set up and operate a probate account), my observation would be that those who use branches (and thus not online) are either, old, poor, not-UK born, and all taking a disproportionate amount of staff time on basic issues.

Or alternatively in a few cases, small businesses paying in or withdrawing cash.

No wonder that there is a scramble by the banks to get out of physical banking and not be the 'last man standing' in that area and have the local MP campaigning to not let you close.

My point was general, yours is a specific example.
