Income tax on income around year end

I thought finding an answer to this would be easy but . . . .

I worked for an umbrella co in March 24 and was paid for that month in mid April 24, after the end of the tax year.

Does it count as taxable income for 23/24 or 24/25?

It’s the payment date not the work date.

Will they provide you with a P60 for 2024/25.

If you have stopped working for them, have they issued you with a P45?

No, presumably no - see next answer, yes - will dig it out. Found payslips and they support 24/25 tax year
