Is there any way to get a standard Revolut card without being charged a fee?

I’ve been using a virtual card since 2016 but now need a physical card.

I think if you become a premium member you get free cards - but still have to pay for replacements.

I have Revolut in it's most basic form. I think the fee for the card was £4.99. Not a fortune.

I love Revolut btw. Been a lifesaver for me as a very frequent traveller abroad (2/3 times a month).

Chase, Starling, Kroo, etc all offer no overseas loading with a physical and virtual card for no fees if you were looking for an alternative.

The total fee is £9.98-I asked Revolut to refund it and they did.

Thanks for all the replies.

How physical do you need? If you enter the details in to your Google/Apple wallet you should be able to use it as contactless payment card.

That's what I've been using since 2016..I need a physical card for a prepay filling station which doesn't have a contactless facility at the pump.

We were in the US in May and most places didn't use contactless

Don't they send you the first one for free anymore?
I'm on their most basic package since 2019 and have had 2 cards without charge (initial plus replacement when it ran out)

They've been a game changer. Tbh I thought you could get a physical card for free. I pay £15pm but I'm sure my friends have free cards.

I must have opened my account in 2018 or 2019 and never had a physical card. Maybe you were on some special promotional offer?
