Can anyone recommend a Will and Probate solicitor?

I am struggling to find a recommendation for a will and probate solicitor after using a company who i feel are inadequate

Any recommendations?

If its a simple will why not DIY
My grandad died on NYD and everything was left to his 4 children, my aunt appointed a solicitor in Feb, Probate was granted in May & the solicitor still hasnt distributed his estate & its cost nearly £4k

Doing a search on the STEP website is a good starting point: https://www.step.org/

In my experience, it's easier to have somebody fairly local in case in-person meetings are needed.
