Nationwide FlexPlus - Am I covered?
Discussion
Hi
Just a quick question in regards to the breakdown cover provided by Nationwide FlexPlus. I have one of my old cars parked on the drive - haven’t started it in a while and it seems that the key has essentially stopped working. The car is keyless and has both keyless entry and keyless start. I am able to unlock the driver’s door using the manual key, but there is no way for me to start the car. When I try to jumpstart it, the alarm simply goes off until I remove the jump leads. I have changed the battery in the key etc leaving me to assume that the key must be faulty, as it does give a red light when pressing lock/unlock. I’m wondering whether me calling the AA through the Nationwide Breakdown Cover scheme is worth it and will they fix the key/provide a new one free of charge? If not, please advise on what to do?
Thanks
