How to pay CGT on share sale gain

I sold some shares in family business/ltd company in mid 2023. I'm not registered for SA, so was intending to use the HMRC real time CGT facility. Had in my head that payment is due by 31st Jan 2025, and just went to sort out payment through HMRC website, but it appears that I should have reported it to them before 31st December 2024?
Not sure what to do at this point, as the HMRC website is saying I can only report a gain made in the current tax year, and I think it's too late to register for SA for 23-24 tax year?
