The current administrator of a pension scheme has been bought out and apparently I need to sign some deeds.

My accountant has told me I need some advice, possibly valuation of units etc however, his usual trusted guy is on holiday and I need to sign before the end of January.

Has anybody dealt with a financial advisor / actuary in the Birmingham area who will able to advise?

I use a nice lady in Derby who might be happy to help. Drop me a pm and I’ll share her details.

Not my area but should you have to pay an IFA just because somebody bought your pension administrator?

If you just need a valuation I'd ring up/write in and ask for one.

I agree - I don’t think it’s clear what’s going on here.

I suspect it is SSAS related rather than an individual pension.
