You have an Investment property (commercial office with Flat above) Worth about £160,000 and generates around £850 a month in Rent. Could probably push this to £1000 as the flat is probably rented under market value.
If sold then the interest on the £160,000 at 4.5% would probably give around £600 a month.
Is there any other possible options of what to do?
We're looking to cut back working so need some form of income from the above to aid cashflow for the next say 5-10 years. So we need to be able to access the money. So im perhaps wondering are there investments that will pay out annually and not tie the money up? We have other tied up investments generating on average 10% per annum.
