Anybody else noticed that the PH Equity and Technology funds have taken a hit recently?

Seemed to have dropped about 10% in as many days ?

What's going on ?

Christ another IM money investor with zero clue what they were getting into and invested just because some bloke sponsored the forums.

What a joke that was allowed - this level of knowledge was so common on all those old threads.

To be fair, those users have prob done much better than they would have done without investing in car man's advice.

It's also really common and hardly limited to here. Every week there is a thread with a question like "I'm 60 years old and thinking of retiring. I don't know what I'm invested in. My FA charges me 10% a year and bums my dog. Am I getting ripped off?"

1) If you add up all the people around the world who are now temporarily poorer due to the tariff fiasco, I think you'll find that the number who bought an IM product represents about 0.00000001%.

2) They also offered about a dozen other products including cautious and defensive, which people could invest in if they wished.

3) The man who devised and ran the tech fund (and plugged it here mercilessly) now works for another company doing the same thing. Maybe you'd better rant at him too.
