Both my wife and I have opened a cash ISA with T212 this weekend

I've funded mine with the full £20k allowance for this year via the T212 platform linked to our joint current account

I've tried to fund the wife's in the same manner, but keep getting an error saying the account names are mismatched, which is obviously incorrect

have any of you come across this previously? I'll need to contact them later in the day, but wondering if there is an easy fix

The names need to be exactly the same for most financial providers - I had this where one account had my wife’s passport name that she never uses (think hyphenated part of first name) and the other had her name as she uses it daily.

They may not be an exact match. Had to go through the change with vanguard to transfer in an ISA from Fundsmith.

Thanks, but I can't see what the difference is

I'll reach out to them later today and see what they say

I don t know how you add funds to T212 but if you send them to a sort code/account number via your banking app make sure you are logged in on your wifes side of the joint bank account and not sending them from your side if you get my drift!

Yeah it was done from her login and not mine.

Will double check it all again later

They may not accept both of you using the same account.

Possibly one of these

Your joint account is you - single authority but her - dual authority.

or

You Or Mrs single authority all ok but her name is incorrect. (wrong spelling, initials only etc)

Easiest solution is FP the money from the joint to a sole account and then pay it in that way.
Or call your bank.
