PayZone and council tax payments

Bit of an Avios collector using the Amex Premium card and as a result enjoying! BA Club Europe for 10.return to various cities.
They have now put up the threshold to 15k and while i got there with a bit to spare it was a close run thing.
I have noticed the Payzone will accept Amex to pay the council tax but have yet to find one
Has anybody succeeded in going this way as 2.5k will help.
